The benefits of oatmeal
Oatmeal is one of the most consumed grains in the world. Its high nutritional value makes it stand out from other grains. It contains more protein and fiber. Among the many benefits, it is important to highlight one benefits. We will explain these below.
Digestive Diseases
Oatmeal is a great regulator of intestinal transit due to its high content of soluble and insoluble fiber. Its intake is recommended for alleviating:
- the symptoms of gastritis
- heartburn
- hemorrhoids
This is because it protects the mucous membranes in the digestive tract. In addition, soluble fibers have a prebiotic effect that improves the quality of the intestinal flora.
Gallbladder Health
Regular consumption of oatmeal can help reduce bile salts during digestion, aiding their elimination and gallbladder purification. It therefore helps prevent the formation of gallstones and colic.
